This Cancellation Policy applies to all services offered by Indian Tenant (www.indiantenant.com), operated by Indian Tenant Technologies. All payments are processed through Razorpay Software Private Limited.
1. Subscription Plans — No Recurring Billing
Indian Tenant offers one-time view credit packages — not recurring subscriptions. There is no automatic renewal, no standing mandate, and no recurring debit. Once purchased, credits are available in your account until consumed or until the plan expiry date. Because there is no recurring billing, there is nothing to "cancel" in the traditional subscription sense.
2. Cancellation of an Incomplete Payment / Order
- If you initiated a payment but abandoned the checkout before completion, no amount will be charged.
- If an amount was deducted but the transaction did not complete (e.g., due to a network timeout), Razorpay will auto-refund the amount within 5 business days. If the refund is not credited within 10 business days, contact us with your Razorpay Order ID or payment receipt.
- Completed and fulfilled transactions cannot be cancelled after credits have been added to your account.
3. Property Listings
- Property owners and agents may deactivate or delete their listings at any time from the dashboard.
- Delisted properties immediately disappear from search results.
- Admin-approved listings that are removed require fresh submission and re-approval.
- No refund or credit is issued for delisting a property; listing is a free feature on Indian Tenant.
4. Account Cancellation (User-Initiated)
- Users may request permanent account deletion by emailing indiantenant@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
- We will process deletion requests within 7 business days of verification.
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
- Any remaining unused view credits will be forfeited upon account deletion. No refund will be issued for unused credits at the time of account deletion.
- All property listings associated with the account will be removed from the platform.
- Transaction records are retained for the legally required period (minimum 10 years) even after account deletion.
5. Account Suspension & Termination (Indian Tenant-Initiated)
Indian Tenant reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, at its sole discretion, without prior notice, in the following circumstances:
- Violation of our Terms and Conditions.
- Submission of fraudulent, false, or misleading property listings or identity information.
- Abusive, threatening, or unlawful conduct on the platform.
- Chargeback fraud or repeated illegitimate payment disputes.
- Violation of applicable Indian law, including the IT Act 2000, PMLA 2002, or RBI regulations.
- Direction from law enforcement, a court, or a regulatory authority.
- Any activity that poses a risk to the platform, other users, or our payment processing partner Razorpay.
No refund will be issued upon account termination for cause. Any unused view credits are forfeited.
6. Post-Termination Obligations
Upon termination of your account (whether user-initiated or by Indian Tenant):
- Your right to access the platform ceases immediately.
- Any pending transactions at the time of termination will be processed and settled in the normal course. We reserve the right to withhold any amounts during the settlement period where there is a suspected fraud or chargeback risk, for a period not exceeding 120 days from the date of the last transaction, as per applicable payment gateway guidelines.
- Your obligation to pay for services already rendered (including view credits already activated) survives termination.
- Sections of our Terms that by their nature survive termination (including liability, indemnity, and governing law) remain in force.
7. Service Modifications & Discontinuation
Indian Tenant reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time with or without notice. In the event of a service discontinuation affecting paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable advance notice and, at our discretion, may offer a pro-rated credit or refund for unused view credits.
